What we collect and why
| What | Where from | Why | Legal reason |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your name, phone, email and message | When you WhatsApp, call or email us | To reply to you | Our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or to take steps before a contract you asked about |
| Business details from public listings (business name, trade, area, public business phone) | Google Maps and other public business listings | To contact businesses we think we can help, and to build free previews | Our legitimate interest in finding customers. We check phone numbers against the TPS/CTPS do-not-call lists first |
| Client details, invoices, payment records | When you become a client | To provide our service and take payment | To carry out our contract with you, and to meet tax and accounting law |
| Our clients' customers' details (callers, text replies, voicemails, form messages) | Through the sites and automations we run for clients | To run the service for that client | We act for our client (the controller), under a written agreement |
Cookies
This site doesn't use tracking or analytics cookies, and our fonts are hosted on our own site. If that changes, we'll update this notice.
Who we share it with
Only the suppliers who help us run the business: website hosting (Netlify), domains (Namecheap), email (Google), our payment provider, texts, call handling and voicemail recordings (Twilio), and our accountant. We never sell your data. Some suppliers may store data outside the UK; where they do, they use legally approved safeguards.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead anywhere: up to 12 months, then deleted.
If you ask us not to contact you again, we keep your name and number on a "do not contact" list so we don't call by mistake.
Client records and invoices: 6 years after the end of the tax year, because tax law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, object to us using it, or stop direct marketing at any time. Just email or message us. We'll reply within a month.
Complaints
Please tell us first and we'll put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, 0303 123 1113.
